Synopsis
Gifted Thai director THARATORN looks at love and language in this delightful romantic comedy. Charming English teacher Pleng gamely struggles to guide her students, including a rebellious factory worker and a hopeless romantic, through the anxieties of language learning while dealing with the ups and downs of love. A lot of laughs come from a self-deprecating look at how language affects class and status. A grammatically incorrect love story that illustrates the beauty of imperfection over perfection in a globalized age.
