Straight outta Indonesia is an action comedy that mixes “Bad Boys” style visuals and gags with action seen in movies like “The Raid” and “The Night Comes for Us” for an entertaining experience. Tegar Saputra is a pretty-boy super-cop with martial-arts moves and his own reality TV show in which he directs the camera crew. Tegar has his biggest assignment yet, the arrest of his nemesis Coki, a drug kingpin who has just escaped from prison. As he leaps into action, Tegar builds a mission that requires him to team up with comedic personality-clash collaborators: a wannabe drug dealer named Lio, a coward named Jefri and a fashionista named Meisa who put into play a hilarious and action-packed mission to serve justice.
