Pongsatorn JONGWILAS - Synopsis
A naïve and goofy bank clerk named Ina (Pimchanok LUEVISADPAIBUL) is unceremoniously dumped by her boyfriend whom she was helping out by paying his tuition. Turns out that her ex was playing an elaborate con and he has now run off with the money leaving her unemployed and in debt. While he enjoys a new comfortable life charming other women, Ina struggles to make ends meet. This is when she encounters another con artist, a handsome heartthrob named Tower (Nadech KUGIMIYA) but luckily Ina manages to rumble him. Instead of turning him in to the police, she hires Tower to swindle her ex-boyfriend to get revenge!
Director Mez THARATORN has a knack for making funny rom-coms and “The Con-Heartist” is a fine example as it perfectly balances laugh-out-loud slapstick comedy with an outrageous con ripe with plot twists and a will-she-won’t-she story of the heroine possibly falling in love with a larger-than-life person.
