Synopsis

A family’s idyllic life descends into chaos when the couple, Edgar and Kaye, discover that the investment scheme they run is in fact a scam. With friends demanding payback and murderous big-time investors at their heels, Kaye turns to her opulent fundamentalist church for help, but the Bishop offers only prayers. Edgar is then forced to reunite with his estranged criminally inclined family, the infamous Acetylene Gang of robbers. And together, they plot to rob the church. This suspenseful crime drama is a story of betrayal and retribution, a drama about familial reconciliation, and a commentary on the tenuous nature of newfound wealth.
