Set in the distant past of Cambodia, viewers are asked to enter a closed community suffering a curse. The uncompromising village chief who has ruled the village for years, refuses listen to his people who want to migrate to other lands. Pushed to the edge of despair, a spiritual leader prays to the forest for help. His call is heard by a mighty tree in the forest and the following day, a beautiful young mysterious woman appears on a nearby river shore. The villagers take her in but debate whether to allow her to stay or not. The chief decides to give her seven day to prove she can be useful to the community. During that period of time, strange events begin to happen and people start to die, leaving the villagers to wonder whether this strange woman is their saviour or their executioner.
