Synopsis

"My Prince Edward" is set in Golden Plaza, a shopping mall in Hong Kong best known for bridal shops and cheap wedding supplies. Two of the people who work there, Fong, a clerk at one of the bridal shops, and Edward, the owner of a wedding photography shop, are about to get married after seven years of being together. Everyone sees Edward as Fong's Prince Charming, the two destined to meet at the altar but there's a problem: Fong must first end the sham marriage that she was paid to take part in ten years ago. The mainlander she's tied to requires her help in securing a Hong Kong ID before a divorce can happen. As Fong tries to work sort out this complication before Edward discovers it, being with the mainlander gets her to consider the nature of marriage, whether she is free and if a marriage without love is also a sham.
