- Synopsis
- Tomboy Estela, played by pop singer Yeng CONSTANTINO in her acting debut, works at a call centre and harbours vague ambitions of being a singer or a photographer. She develops a friendship with co-worker Trevor (Felix ROCO), and despite the fact that he is gay, she falls for him and when he breaks up with his boyfriend, she hopes he may finally reciprocate her unspoken love. This bright and entertaining romantic comedy features fluid, natural dialogue and strong chemistry between the two leads. In her entertaining and accessible feature debut, Siege LEDESMA, who also wrote the script, enlists the notable Sasha PALOMARES, who provides colorful cinematography. Brightly shot, and lightly played, it's infused with issues like sexuality, slackerism and unfocused rebelliousness without becoming either judgemental or preachy.
