HO Yuhang

HO originally studied engineering at Iowa State University before making his debut feature film MIN (2003), which won the Special Jury Prize at the Nantes Three Continents Festival in France. His third film, RAIN DOGS (太陽雨) (2006), was the first Malaysian film to compete in the Venice Film Festival. His next feature, AT THE END OF DAYBREAK (心魔) (2009), received the NETPAC Award at the Locarno Film Festival and garnered seven Best Actress Awards for lead actress Kara WAI. His latest film MRS K (2016) had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival and will be presented at OAFF2017 as the opening film.

JIMENEZ is an award-winning writer and filmmaker who has worked in film, television and print media. Her filmography includes the comedy hit BIG TIME, directed by Mario CORNEJO, where she worked as producer and writer. In 2010, she directed her first full length feature, a documentary titled, KANO: AN AMERICAN AND HIS HAREM which won in the prestigious International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam 2010, and also the Best Documentary Award in Cinemanila and GawadUrian. APOCALYPSE CHILD (2015) in which she worked together with the director Mario CORNEJO again has been selected for OAFF2017 Special Program
NAKANISHI Miho
中西美帆|Japan|Actress
Born 1988 in Kobe. NAKANISHI had dreamt of being an actress since childhood and decided to pursue her passion at the age of 20. She made her first appearance on stage with "The Miracle Worker" in 2009. After her debut on an NHK TV drama in 2011, she has appeared in a number of topical projects, including TV drama "Yae no sakura" and the films THE ETERNAL ZERO (2013) and OVER YOUR DEAD BODY (KUIME) (2014). She played a supporting role for the 2016 film MADOU: AFTER THE RAIN, and the lead role for the 2016 film TOKYO WIND ORCHESTRA.
