In an age of downloadable love, ties are quickly established and just as quickly severed. Chasing after an ideal romance, a young woman meets and sleeps with different men through dating apps but is unable to develop a relationship, hence her body and the bodies of her paramours get closer yet their hearts are far apart and the gap seems unbridgeable.
In this modern romance, the glare of a smartphone screen and the convenience of a dating app define how we connect but, in the end, our love lives are dictated by the same old hopes, lies desires, and disappointments as we struggle to make a connection with others and not get hurt. Thanks to technology, this struggle is made a merry-go-round which we stay on as we chase the dream of getting a better outcome next time around.
