Synopsis

A young male chick is specially chosen by fate to become a fine COCKEREL in this short as he begins his caged yet sensual life as a breeder of a native chicken farm.

An authoritative voice over detailing the thoughts and feelings of an actor dressed up as a cockerel provides guidance to the lives of fowl, their living conditions and their philosophical musings. Man or beast, the things that drive living things are mostly the same so the film also doubles as a wry look at relations between the sexes. However, getting to know what you eat and humanising it may turn you into a vegetarian as you develop sympathy for these feathered creatures...
