"WHOLE" is a sensitive and insightful drama that questions what it is to be mixed race in Japan. It was directed by KAWAZOE Bilal, a rising director, whose previous film "Nami to Tomoni" (With the Waves/波と共に) was shown at the Short Film Corner at Cannes.

“La Petite Mort” is a story of a middle-aged woman bearing many burdens who yearns for change when she gets a new job. It struck a chord with audiences for its social realism. It was directed by Yvette CHOU, produced by Taiwanese actress KWAI Lun-mei, and stars TSAI Ming-liang's muse, LU Yi-ching.
