A teacher who comes to Sankumi (Class 3) of the fifth grade doesn't have arms and legs… Taichi Kokubun comes back to screen after a six year absence, playing with zeal the leading role of the assistant teacher. The author of the autobiographical novel on which this movie is based, Hirotada Ototake, gives a wholehearted performance as the new teacher. Portraying lively children in a documentary-like fashion, this miraculous touching school drama depicts their one year with the teacher who respects their individual characteristics. This film will be released in cinemas throughout Japan from March 23.
