- Synopsis
- Suspenseful thriller about corruption in high places, focusing on the relationship between a politician falsely accused of murder and the son who is determined to clear his father's name, assisted by an idealistic lawyer (Donny DAMARA) and an upright, ass-kicking lady cop (Atiqah HASIHOLAN). Battling against entrenched interests in government and police, son Ricky (Rizky NAZAR) attempts to expose corruption, while at the same time experiencing first love with the lawyer's daughter (Maudy AYUNDA). Veteran Indonesian star Ray SAHETAPY gives a strong performance as the accused, and directors Hanung BRAMANTYO and Rahabi MANDRA cover all the bases in this well-paced film.The world premiere of the re-shot/re-edited version of the film.
