- Synopsis
- First-time director Kiwi CHOW, in collaboration with heavyweight Hong Kong production companies, looks at the complicated ethics of reproductive rights through a heartfelt lens. University student Yazi (ZHU Zhiying) becomes a surrogate mother for a wealthy couple but is shocked when the couple decides to terminate the contract. Yazi flees to a secluded island, but is located by the genetic father Yuk (Jacky CHEUNG), and emotional involvement melds with moral rights and responsibilities.
