- Synopsis
- A group of twelve assassins formed by order of the Yongzheng Emperor in the Qing Dynasty kills a target with the super weapon, "flying guillotine". One of the assassins, Ma Teng (CHEN Kuan-tai), is threatened by his fellows, and their bloody fight begins… With the ultimate weapon "flying guillotine" (the literally-translated name is "drip of blood") and CHEN's thrilling action, "Flying Guillotine" was a big hit. Many films using the same weapon, such as "Master of the Flying Guillotine" (1975), were produced after this film. In Quentin TARANTINO's "Kill Bill: Vol. 1", Gogo Yubari (KURIYAMA Chiaki) uses a weapon inspired by this flying guillotine.
