- Synopsis
- Shimada, a struggling actor, accepts a job at an agency called "Friendship", in which he is required to assume roles requested by customers. In a small studio set up to allow customers to vent their secret, suppressed desires, Shimada becomes a boss, a love interest, a husband and more in client-directed productions. However, when Shimada attempts to intervene in a high school girl's terrorist plot, he is drawn into a world of hidden evil. In his feature-length debut director ENDO Mikihiro capitalizes on his experience with an experimental theatre group, using metaphysical ideas such as actors playing actors, blurring the lines between drama and reality.

Director: ENDO Mikihiro
Born 1985 in Mie Prefecture. While studying at Kyoto University of Art and Design, ENDO started making self-produced films. After graduating from university, he joined Marebito Theater Company. Later he entered Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of Arts. His filmography includes "Eldorado" (2012) and "Before After" (2013) as a part of the omnibus film "The Rakugo Eiga".
