TAMAKI Mieko (玉木美枝子) - Synopsis
This is a short sequel to “After Spring, the Tamaki Family…” (OAFF2017), a portrait of a family descended from Taiwanese immigrants who live on Ishigaki Island, Okinawa Prefecture. This emotionally moving short follows up what happened to the family with a recording of the last moments of grandma Tamaki, who passed away in the spring of 2022, and the reunion of the Tamaki family at her funeral.
