Synopsis

Five thought-provoking shorts which imagine what Hong Kong will be like ten years from now. Five of Hong Kong’s young directors raise questions about the most central issues concerning the city, and the audience is invited to ponder. All the stories are independent, yet at the same time, intricately related to one another, attempting to portray decisions and struggles of humanity in a dark age. The films speculate on the future and reflect on the present. This dark political satire about life in 2025 created a sensation in Hong Kong.
