Synopsis

Set in 1933, during the Japanese occupation of Korea. A group of three specialists, comprising a weapons dealer, an explosives expert and the team leader, a female sniper, join forces to assassinate a Japanese commander and a quisling Korean businessman. Their efforts are complicated by double crosses, a highly placed informant, and two long-separated twin sisters who are frequently, and dangerously, mistaken for each other. Combining thrilling extended action sequences, vividly evocative period sets and excellent, often humorous, rapport amongst the leads, “Assassination” is excitingly paced and sensationally entertaining.
