Hai Phuong used to be a gangster but she retired from a life of crime after giving birth to her daughter Mai. She fled to the countryside with her girl to lay low but when Mai is kidnapped it seems that figures from her violent past are behind it. Hai Phuong is forced to dive back into the criminal underworld to rescue her daughter and she will have to be prepared to go all out and quick because her former colleagues belong to an infamous organ-trafficking ring who have rounded up a bunch of other kids and are preparing to ship the children off to their doom.
Actress and director NGO Thanh Van (“Tam Cam” (OAFF 2017), “The Tailor” (OAFF 2018)) reunites with director LE Van Kiet after their work on “House in the Alley” (2012) for an exciting female-led kidnap film that some call a cross between the action seen in “The Raid” (2011) and “Taken” (2008) with fast and furious battles on trains and rivers running across Vietnam.
