ZHANG Jingyi (张婧仪) - Synopsis
A romance set over the course of ten years sees a typical set up of boy meets girl given a shiny new treatment by being beautifully lensed by LIAO Ni and directed by Sha MO.
It begins when good-natured LU Qinyang (QU Chuxiao) works up his courage and confesses his love for LING Yiyao (ZHANG Jingyi) in front of the whole school. He promised to marry her in the future and never regret it and so this pledge powers him through years of construction jobs, some dangerous, in various parts of China. For her part, Yiyao stuck by her man, despite opposition from her mother and many tough times. However, after knowing each other for ten years, Yiyao calls Qinyang to tell him she is getting married soon but the groom is not him. And now Qinyang desperately needs to see her, no matter the risk. Cue melodrama...
