Shiqiao has always dreamed of being a ballet dancer, but has to give up her dream because of the same neuromuscular disease which killed her father. Suffering from memory lapses due to medication, she lives with her devoted mother. One day, she meets a high-school friend she has always liked, and begins to date him despite her mother's objections.
Though "First Time" is a remake of the 2003 Korean movie, "…ing", it boldly resets the characters and plot and uses whimsical animation and evocative cinematography, which makes the film more profound romantic story. The beauty of actress Angelababy shines, and viewers will notice her talent.
