Dido DELA PAZ
This is the story of Raffy and Gela who are both in the beautiful landscape of Palawan to escape their real lives and catch up on their respective me-time. But as fate would have it, they find themselves being mistaken as a newly-wed couple, the titular Mr and Mrs Cruz. To keep up appearances, the two hang out and end up becoming friends as they take in the sights of the place, the luscious beaches they relax on and the heady bar crawls they get steamed on. They walk everywhere in a place and talk about everything from books to love and eventually open up about their personal feeling. Thankfully, warm personalities and charming dialogue make the characters enjoyable.
The scenic beauty of Palawan Island’s beaches and resorts are not just the setting of a film about two strangers meeting and gradually falling in love, it is a character helping the two connect.
