Farmer filmmaker Juichiro Yamazaki's debut feature depicts the struggles of a young dairy farmer and a little bit of hope for future. "The Sound of Light" was selected for the 2011 Tokyo International Film Festival's Japanese Eyes section and the 2012 Rotterdam International Film Festival's Bright Future section.
