Director Masahiro Kobayashi, who resides in the disaster stricken area of Kesennuma, reconstructed his screenplay written in 2006, resetting it in his residential area. "Woman on the Edge" is a love-hate drama depicting three sisters who meet at home after the earthquake for the first time in many years. The film is full of tense atmosphere showing the women's edginess.
