- Synopsis
-
"The Woman in the Septic Tank" chronicles a day in the life of three ambitious but misguided filmmakers. They choose "poverty" for the theme of their film, because they think it is "the symbol of Filipino culture"…
Written and produced by Christopher Martinez, this debut feature by Marlon N. Rivera swept five major awards of the 2011 Cinemalaya Film Festival and was nominated for the Asian Film Award. Martinez and Rivera got the idea of this film from an audience member's comment at the Q&A session at OAFF 2009.*With English subtitles
