A newly married woman, Shiori, lives a happy humble life, but suddenly loses her husband in a workplace accident. Set in Hitachi city in Ibaraki Prefecture after the Great East Japan Earthquake, "Cold Bloom" depicts the subtle emotions between the victim's wife and the man who accidentally killed him, and the difficulty in forgiving, with a backdrop of cherry blossoms in full bloom. A touching drama by director Atsushi Funahashi of "Nuclear Nation". The film is to be released in cinemas throughout Japan from April 13.
