One day, the two friends visit Min-wook in the army. They spend one night together, drinking and talking, and they find wide gaps between each other, between reality and ideals. Actually, the two friends have another purpose for their visit: a Dear John letter from Min-wook’s girlfriend…
"Sunshine Boys" is an excellent film by up-and-coming director Kim Tae-gon, depicting the young men striving to find their ways ahead, in a comical way. The three lead actors give natural performances with perfect timing; viewers will empathize with the three struggling boys. Actress Kim Kkobbi from "Breathless" and "Magic & Loss" (OAFF2011) also appears in the film.
