To (Chapman To) is a long-time film producer, but has yet to produce any hit movie. With financial troubles, he can't pay the alimony to his divorced wife. For his dear daughter who wishes to see him succeed, To decides to work with a deviant mainland investor named Tyrannosaurus (Ronald Chen). It means To has to make his gangland's extraordinary wish come true...
"Vulgaria" is the latest film by genius Pang Ho-Cheung, who has core cult fans in Japan. A very different film from his "Love in the Buff", screened in the same Special Screenings section, this hilarious comedy is full of bawdy jokes in Cantonese, biting satires and odd characters performed by skillful actors including Miriam Yeung from "Love in the Buff".
