Synopsis

Ning is about to leave her home town and step out into the wider world as she embarks on her university life in Bangkok. The three days that we join her, we see that she is trying to figure out who to write down as her 'emergency contact' for a university form. The candidates are her best friend, her boyfriend, and her mother. With time running out, Ning uses her remaining days as a process of deciding who to choose by spending time with each person and figuring out her relationship with them. Who can she trust the most?

The process Ning goes through throws into sharp view the pain of separation and changes to people and places. Director JUNLAKARIN’s short film charms in its sincere depiction of Ning’s emotional life as she takes her first stumbling steps to independence and maturity and also its naturalism which gives a potent sense of place and people drawn from real life.
