“The past has shrouded the present.”
One summer day, Yeon and Kang are reunited by chance. An afternoon stroll reminiscing about life reveals two ex-lovers with different temperaments who can’t quite quit each other. She is serious-minded, he is boyishly playful. She cannot forget what made them break up while he desires to give their love another try.
Tracking the development of their relationship, the film offers different layers of their relationship during summertime by flashing back and flashing forward over ten years to illustrate that their love is all a matter of timing. What is Right Now was Wrong Then. Each scene of their relationship is rich in atmosphere and the chemistry shared by lead actors make the emotions of their characters emanate from the screen.
